When occasionally rent is late or a tenant falls into arrears, Chivers Commercial will liaise with both tenant and Landlord to try and find a solution. Rent collected on behalf of Landlord’s is dealt with through specialist Property Management Software and dedicated Client bank accounts with every transaction recorded and monitored. Annual independent audits are undertaken and management accounts are dealt with in full compliance with RICS requirements. The client is kept up to date with developments at every step of the process and provided with regular statements which can also be used for taxation and business accounting purposes.
Service charge administrationThe asset management team has an extensive management portfolio covering most types of commercial property, many of which are multi-ocupied buildings. We offer a full service charge facility including collection, contractor instruction and payment, services apportionment and recharge, insurance premium collection and day-to-day issues which arise with tenants and or the buildings themselves.
