Peter Burnett FRICS MRAC Qualified 1979

Heading up the Stafford offices, Peter handles commercial agency and professional valuation throughout
the Midlands and manages an extensive commercial property portfolio. He acts onlease renewal, rent review and acts for banks and property companies on a wide range of valuation matters.

He is also involved with minerals consultancy.

Prior to joining the firm in 1988, Peter was with the Blue Circle Group where he was responsible for the portfolio and management of an extensive range of properties throughout England and Wales.

Peter is a member of the Minerals and Waste Management, Commercial Property, Planning and Development and Valuation Faculties of the RICS.

Catherine Edwards BSc FRICS MEWI Qualified 1979

Catherine is currently Chairman of the company based in the Birmingham office and deals with a wide range of professional advice on commercial and industrial property.

She also specialises in boundary dispute resolution and expert evidence as a member of the Expert Witness Institute, including property aspects of personal injury litigation, boundary disputes, DDA assessments and negligence claims for both claimants and defendants.

Catherine joined the firm in 1997 having worked in the Midlands since qualifying in both Local Government and private practice. She is a past member of the RICS Ethics and Consumer Policy Committee and the International Commercial Property Faculty Board and has served on the landlord and tenant forum.

Catherine is a member of the Rotary Club of Birmingham Breakfast.

Geoffrey Burcher FRICS Qualified 1970

Based at the Birmingham Office, Geoffrey advises on disposals, acquisitions, valuations, landlord and tenant
and general professional work. His clients include corporate occupiers, property companies, investors and
private individuals.

Geoffrey joined Chivers Commercial in 2002 after previously being a director with Chesterton where he advised corporate occupiers on asset management and strategic property issues.

He is currently a member of the RICS Fellowship Assessment Board and chairs the property committee of
St John Ambulance in the West Midlands.
